A 50 Square metre Class (6) 1000 Clean Room Facility.
Assembly & Test.
Located between our High Precision Machining Centres and Toolroom facilities, its position allows for seamless transfer of parts from manufacturing to assembly. The BS EN ISO 14644 Class 6 (1000) Clean Room Facility is tempareature, pressure, humidity and particulate contaminant controlled to levels well within its class.
The facility is equipped with a helium leak test machine, nitrogen gas supply, component vacuum packing and computer management fully encorporated into our system, as well as ultrasonic cleaning tanks in a supporting clean area.
Occupying over 50 sq m, this facility has been designed to handle the changing requirements and expansion needs of our customers for the forseeable future. This unit is highly suited to the assembly and testing of precision laser sub assemblies as well as complex space and medical components.
To ensure total quality, our people have been trained to the highest level, with accreditation fully recognised by the Scottish Society for Contamination Control and the Clean Room Industry Board. This includes operators, maintenance and quality staff, who have the knowledge and skills to maintain, audit and utilise this facility in accordance with stringent operating procedures.
